Dr. Ciaran Foley has a special interest and extensive experience in musculoskeletal medicine, holding a diploma in musculoskeletal medicine and injury management. He spent six seasons as team doctor to the Waterford senior hurling team and has provided medical cover at a wide range of sporting events, bringing that sports medicine experience to patients of every age and activity level — from sports injuries to everyday aches, strains and joint pain. We are also experienced in and provide steroid joint injections, a commonly used treatment for osteoarthritis and other painful joint conditions, performed on-site at the practice.
